aims to encourage interest in the countryside for the environment through a programme of talks, walks, coach outings and fundraising coffee mornings.
Monday evening meetings will commence on Monday 13th September, 2021 at 7.45 pm at Adastra Hall, Keymer Road, Hassocks. Our speaker for this meeting will be Sarah McKenzie who will speak on ‘A Year in the Life of a Nature Reserve Warden’.
We have a programme of Monday evening meetings with speakers, twice a month from September to April. Talks cover all aspects of wildlife and countryside. Also local history, travel and places of interest in and around Sussex.
Occasional coach outings are organised for members, visiting National Trust properties, gardens, historical sites and other places of interest.
Two coffee mornings are arranged each year, providing an opportunity for members to meet and socialise, while at the same time raising funds for a local charity or project.
