Wednesday Walks
All walks start at 10.00 am and are generally circular. Please wear sensible footwear, as walks are sometimes over rough terrain and can be muddy at times. If in doubt regarding weather conditions, or if further details are required, then please ring the leader overnight or early in the morning. For insurance purposes, everyone joining these walks must be a member of the Hassocks Field Society. The contact for all Wednesday walks is Mary Tree on 01444 241517.
Thursday Ambles - 2019
All walks, which are fortnightly, start at 1.30 pm (unless otherwise stated). Walks are approximately 3 miles taken at a leisurely pace. Where possible we will have tea. Meet at Ditchling Common Countryside Car Park. This is an approx. 5 mile walk towards Blackbrook Wood, Mid-Sussex Golf Course and Mac’s Farm.

Meet at The Sloop Inn, Freshfield (RH17 7NP), between Danehill A275 & Scaynes Hill A272 This is an approx. 4 mile undulating walk in lanes, woods and fields.

Meet and park on High Street near Chiddingstone Church (TN8 7AH). This is a 4 ml Kent Weald walk with views back to Ide Hill and Greensand Ridge. Includes 2 Tudor villages and the Eden Valley Way.

Meet at The Plough Inn Car Park, Plough Road (RH7 6PS). This is an approx. 4 ½ mile undulating walk in woods, fields and lanes, with views of 4 counties and a few stiles.
